Weekend Granny Afghan
AFGHAN
With A, ch 4; join with sl st in first ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), 2 dc in ring, ch 2, (3 dc in ring, ch 2) 3 times; join with sl st in top of beg ch. Fasten off.
Rnd 2: Join B with sl st in any ch-2 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same ch-sp (beg corner made), ch 1, *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp (corner made), ch 1; rep from * around; join with sl st in top of beg ch. Fasten off.
Rnd 3: Join C with sl st in any corner ch-2 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same ch-sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1; rep from * around; join with sl st in top of beg ch. Fasten off.
Rnd 4: Join next color of Color Sequence with sl st in any corner ch-2 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same ch-sp, ch 1, (3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1) across to next corner ch-2 sp, *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner ch-2 sp, ch 1, (3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1) across to next corner ch-2 sp; rep from * around; join with sl st in top of beg ch. Fasten off.
Rnds 5-12: Rep Rnd 4, continuing to change color following Color Sequence.
Rnd 13: With A, rep Rnd 4.
FINISHING
Edging
Join B with sl st in any ch-sp, ch 1, sc in each dc and ch-1 sp around, working 3 sc in each corner ch-2 sp; join with sl st in beg ch. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Row 1: 2 dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 3 ch, (dc3tog) twice, dc in next 3 ch, *3 dc in next 2 ch, dc in next 3 ch, (dc3tog) twice, dc in next 3 ch; rep from * across to last ch, 3 dc in last ch
Row 2: ch 3, turn, 2 dc in first st, dc in next 3 sts, (dc3tog) twice, dc in next 3 dc, *3 dc in next 2 sts, dc in next 3 sts, (dc3tog) twice, dc in next 3 dc; rep from * across, 3 dc in top of turning ch
Repeat row 2 until desired length.
